Your new role

We are seeking a highly experienced Tyre Superintendent to provide leadership to the mine-site based Tyre Fitting team. Operating on a 5/2/4/3 roster, your duties and responsibilities include
- Lead by example coordinating the safe and cost-effective Tyre Fitting of all equipment, including documentation and reporting.
- Ensure Tyre Fitting related maintenance and repairs are executed within safety, time and cost requirements
- Accurately record the daily activities and maintenance tasks
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships and effective, high performing teams
- Focused on continuous improvement, with ability to lead teams to develop and implement solutions
- Promote and maintain a positive safety culture and record within the team.

What you'll need to succeed
- Current Mining Supervisor - G1, G8, G9 (formerly S1, S2, S3)
- Current Carry out the Risk Management Process - G2 (RIIRIS402D)
- Tyre Fitting certificate
- AURKTJ011 Remove, inspect and fit earthmoving and off-the-road tyres
- AURKTJ012 Remove, inspect and fit earthmoving and off-the-road wheel and rim assemblies
- RIIMPO208F Operate support equipment
- RIISAM202E Isolate and access plant
- RIISAM301F Test operational functions of vehicles and equipment
- Demonstrated success in maintaining an excellent safety record for teams
- Current Queensland Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
- A current Queensland driver licence.
