Factory Worker

We are a locally owned business located in the Somerton Industrial area. We are experiencing considerable growth and have a position available in our workshop production team where we manufacture metal safety products.

The position we currently have available is for a permanent factory worker. We are seeking a fit, reliable and enthusiastic person with an eye for detail as we take pride in delivering product of a very high quality. To be successful you must have:

- Good communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet production deadlines.
- Experience with a variety of hand tools and power equipment.
- Driver’s Licence.
- Ability to read Basic Drawings.

General Duties
- Read drawings and specifications.
- Prepares raw materials using cutting and forming machines.
- General fabrication/welding. Experience is not essential
- Cleans fabrication ready for surface finishing
- Prepare jobs for despatch.
- Onsite installations when required.

Experience in Metal fabrication and Welding will be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided for all elements of our manufacturing process. The successful applicant must be willing to learn, take direction and be an active participant in a very team orientated business.

Licence:

- Australian driver's licence (required), Medium Rigid licence would be an advantage but not essential

- Some Installations as required

**Salary**: $23.00 - $31.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:
