Our team is growing, we are currently recruiting for a **Project Controls Lead** to join our team in our Perth office to oversee cost management and reporting functions for our projects. As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring project success through effective coordination, analysis, and communication.

**About the role**
- Analyse project cost performance, track expenditures, and forecast future costs to support budget management and financial planning.
- Mentor and support junior project controls staff, fostering their professional development and ensuring consistency and accuracy in project controls practices.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and delays, and propose mitigation strategies to maintain project momentum.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather relevant data and inputs for project controls activities.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on project performance, providing insights and recommendations to project teams and clients.

**About You**
- Degree in engineering, project management, business administration, or related field;
- Proven experience in a similar position within project controls, preferably in the mining & minerals industry or related sectors.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Oracle, Ecosys, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and guide team members toward common goals.
- Knowledge of mining industry regulations, standards, and best practices is desirable.
- Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Cost Professional (CCP) are a plus.
