-Are you a **Construction Superintendent (SMP)** seeking your next opportunity with a global mining producer, and are available for a **locally** based long term temp contract, on-site in the Peel region for a **period of 2 years?**

**About the role**

Reporting to the Project Manager, the **Construction Manager** will have overall accountability for the HSE, Cost, Schedule and Quality of the construction execution packages, including inspections, conformance and compliance testing, handover to operations for assets installed by the Capital Projects program. Amongst other priorities, you will:

- Develop construction documentation; manage and coordinate the construction effort for all works within Capital Projects
- Manages assigned projects and the implementation of contractors and vendors involved to ensure that the projects are completed safely, meets quality requirements, on schedule, within budget and delivered to project requirements.
- Management of the owner’s construction team and Contractors on site regrading EHS&T requirements, Construction Priorities, Planning, Reporting and Documentation of Construction activities, to ensure delivery of ‘Best Practice’ project delivery.
- Drives Budget and Schedule and the overall delivery of the construction packages.
- Overseeing all construction operations on site, leading the site works through its various stages from commencement to commissioning and handover.
- Ensuring the achievement of Site Safety and Environmental objectives are achieved.

**What Qualifications Do I Require?**
- Diploma in Construction Field or Project Management (preferred), or
- Qualified Professional Trade Skilled in an **SMP Background.**:

- Completion of BSBWHS414 and BSBWHS411 (preferred)
- Greater than 10 years’ experience in the Construction field.
- Greater than 5 years in a Construction Manager or Superintendent Role
- Experience Managing EPC, EPMC, D&C, TK contracts (Client side preferred)
- Experience within an Alumina or Heavy Industry (preferred)
