Construction and maintenance company
- 2+ year(s) experience in contract administration / management (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in building and construction or engineering

**Responsibilities**
- Provide contract management and administration duties in relation to the day-to-day requirements for the delivery of projects, including liaising with Clients, Contractors and Project Team members.
- Manage the contractual correspondence, notices, claims etc, for major contract and subcontractor arrangements
- Provide strong commercial counsel and leadership to key stakeholders
- Ensures the timely transfer of all contract data (e.g. terms, pricing, effective dates, expected rebates, etc.).
- Ensure contractual risk is managed and mitigated including management of all variations, extension of time, delay and disruption claims, liquidated damages in order to protect and maximise value to the company.
- Attend contract and pre-tender meetings with Technical Product Consultants
- Establish standardized electronic contract filing processes to enable efficient contract investigation.
- Maintain contract files and records; prepares status reports; and, reconciles differences with Finance and the Project Manager.
- Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with the company's safety, quality assurance & environmental management system
- Manage contract closeout procedures

Other
- Answer phones and direct calls to relevant staff
- Other ad hoc duties as required.

**Skills Required**:
Communication: The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience.
- Attention to detail: Excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally and the ability to keep accurate records of services etc.
- Teamwork: Willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members.
- Time management/organisation: Accomplish objectives effectively within time frame given, and carry out duties in an efficient and timely manner.
- Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve problems.

**Requirements**:
Police Clearance (essential).
- Bachelor’s degree preferably Business Administration, Law/Legal (non construction Contract Administrator roles)
- Bachelor’s degree in building and construction or engineering (construction Contract Administrator roles)
- 2+ year(s) experience in contract administration / management (preferred)
