Urban and Regional Planner

Q Design & Construct is seeking an Urban and Regional Planner. In the Commercial and Industrial Construction market, QDC handles everything, from feasibility and design to project management and construction. Annual salary: Depending on experience, the salary range is $70,000-$85,000 per annum.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Conferring with government authorities, communities, Architects, social scientists, Legal Professionals, and planning, development and environmental specialists
- Review early-stage design concepts and provide planning advice to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with local and state planning policy
- Revising and recommending use and development of land, and presenting plans, programs and designs
- Assist in managing external planning consultants as required and undertake coordination of planning approvals
- Reviewing and evaluating environmental impact reports
- Staying up-to-date with changes in building and zoning codes, regulations and other legal issues
- Conduct research and site feasibility studies for newly proposed developments.

Skills and Qualifications (edit as appropriate):

- Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Urban planning or similar

A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the role

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
