**About the role**:
The Environmental Compliance Lead sits within the Retail Compliance Team and focuses on delivering excellence in data management, reporting, quality and consistency across various state and national compliance schemes including the Federal Renewable Energy Target. This is a standalone role heavy in numbers and will be involved in regular auditing, as well as building and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the business.

**_ In this role, you’ll b_**_e_**:

- Ensuring environmental compliance with State reporting including implementing policy changes, reporting and auditing such as State energy efficiency schemes, GreenPower and Climate Active.
- Ensuring retail environmental compliance with Federal reporting including implementing policy changes and reporting such as the Renewable Energy Target
- Implementing and ensuring business compliance when retail environmental policy becomes effective
- Optimizing data collection and approval processes

**_Ideally, you’ll bring to the role:_**
- A passion for sustainability and experience in a similar retail compliance or regulatory role
- Extensive audit experience and a high attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills and experience in assessing data against, and reporting in line with, relevant reporting frameworks and standards
- Sound stakeholder management skills where you are able to find common ground and gain personal and professional trust whilst working collaboratively across functional groups
- Strong project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
