**About The Role**

Sharp & Carter are proud to partner with a reputable organisation to appoint a Payroll Officer in a permanent full-time position in Brisbane. The opportunity to commence with a thriving and supportive payroll team in a national organisation.

**Key Responsibilities**

Reporting directly to the Team Leader, the role will include but not be limited to:

- Effective and efficient payroll processing.
- Assist with the timely completion of monthly, periodic and year end processes as directed.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant awards and related legislation.
- Ensure appropriate confidentiality of information is maintained within payroll.
- Generate the appropriate payroll correspondence
- Calculate and process termination payments as required.
- Contribute to team cohesiveness and spirit, and actively participates in payroll and team meetings.
- Chris21/Preceda experience
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to priorities own work, and have excellent time management skills
