An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced **Cardiologist **to join our **Cardiology Department **as the** Head of Heart Failure Services.**

**Details of position**:

- **Hours per week: 17.5 hours (5 sessions/week)**:

- **Employment Status: Fixed-term, Part-time**:

- **Appointment Period: 6 February 2023 - 21 July 2023**:

- **Sessions required**:

- **Heart Failure Outpatients Clinic (2 sessions)**:

- **Inpatient Heart Failure Management (2 sessions)**:

- **Head of Heart Failure Services (1 session)**

**To be successful for this role you must**:

- Be a registered Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Hold a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), or equivalent
- Have appropriate training and experience applicable in the field of Cardiology
- Formal clinical training and experience in the subspecialty of heart failure
- Demonstrate a commitment to high quality patient care
- An interest, commitment, and experience in teaching and research
