**About the role**

We are seeking an unaccredited trainee to join our General Medicine 1 team for a short-term vacancy. You will be responsible for managing the care of patients admitted to the ward, under the supervision of senior medical staff. You will also participate in ward rounds, case presentations, and educational activities. You will report to the Director of Physician Training and work closely with other trainees, consultants, nurses, and allied health professionals.

**Duties**
- Provide high-quality clinical care to patients
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
- Document and maintain accurate medical records
- Comply with hospital policies and procedures
- Attend and contribute to relevant meetings and training sessions

**Skills & experience**
- Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- Previous experience in general medicine or related specialty
- Excellent clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
