**About the Role**

As our **Florist Manager**, you’ll lead by example, ensuring every bouquet that leaves Hidden Florist is stunning and aligned with our values of creativity, passion, and excellence.
You’ll be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, mentoring the team, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring we hit our floral targets with style and grace.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Floristry Excellence**:

- Perform and oversee daily floristry operations, ensuring every arrangement is crafted to our high standards.
- Bring **strong technical floristry skills** and an **advanced knowledge of flower conditioning and care** to assess and work with the best blooms.
- Create beautiful **hand-tied bouquets and vase arrangements** quickly and efficiently, while maintaining impeccable quality.

**Team Leadership**:

- Lead, mentor, and inspire the team to **live, laugh, and love** their work at Hidden Florist, embodying our values of **team spirit** and creativity.
- Use your **natural leadership skills** to ensure the team is **engaged, productive, and enjoying themselves** while achieving business goals.
- Support team development and learning, ensuring everyone thrives in a **positive, energetic atmosphere**.

**Operational Management**:

- Effectively manage daily workflows, including **time management**, scheduling, and **rostering** to meet the seasonal needs of our busy florist shop.
- Oversee stock levels of flowers, foliage, and floristry supplies, maintaining our high-quality standards.
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring we source the **best seasonal blooms**.
- Handle logistics, fulfillment, and **order processing** efficiently, ensuring every customer experience is a delightful one.

**Social Media and Content Creation**:

- Experience with **social media content creation** is preferred, as we love to showcase our unique arrangements and share our passion for floristry with our growing community online

- You’ve got **strong technical floristry skills** and can confidently create hand-tied bouquets and arrangements with ease.
- You’re a **self-starter** with a drive to see tasks through to completion. You’re goal-focused and love being part of a **team** that works hard and has fun.
- You’ve had **plenty of leadership experience**, empathetically guiding your team to success while keeping the atmosphere light and enjoyable.
- You’re a natural at **building strong relationships** with your team, suppliers, and customers.

**Physical Task Capabilities**
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Comfort using hand tools like flower snips and strippers.
- Repeatedly stripping and cutting large volumes of flowers.
- Regular lifting and carrying of buckets (5kg - 20kg).
- Standing and walking on uneven or slippery work surfaces.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- **Certificate III in Floristry** (required).
- **3+ years** of floristry experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- **3+ years of leadership** experience, managing teams of at least 10 people.
- Familiarity with online retail operations is a bonus.
