**About the role**
Hypometer Technologies is looking for a talented **Web Designer **to build upon our suite of progressive consumer-facing data products, shaping unique and functional user-centric experiences. You will have hands-on experience across all aspects of UI, UX and integrated product design, and be responsible for ensuring beautiful design meets business objectives. Reporting to our Lead Product Manager, and working directly with the COO/Head of Product, you will have the freedom to work across teams from data analysts to content designers and developers, seeing your products come to life across our user-facing platforms.
**Job tasks and responsibilities**
- Develop concepts; aligning stakeholders and communicating your creative process to align with business and user goals.
- Produce user flows, wireframes and initial designs for the wider team to explore and validate concepts, and communicate the final design effectively to the development team
- Conduct design research across industry leaders, competitors and the wider design landscape to inform progressive design thinking and optimisations.
- Make deliberate design decisions, translating complex user experience journeys into smooth and intuitive interactions and conversions.
- Work closely within your team and across various sectors of the business to understand current priorities and direction, and support these where possible through your design.
- Review existing products and user behaviour analytics to make recommendations for optimisations; presenting ideas backed by data to your team and the wider group.
- Keep your finger on the pulse across all aspects of the business to identify opportunities for design-intervention.
**Skills and experience**
- 2+ years experience as a Web Designer (or equivalent UX/UI role) with hands-on experience in researching, ideating, designing and delivering digital products.
- Experience working with complex and dynamic data or 'changing' information; and ways of visualising it; ideally with sports data, sports betting.
- Strong understanding of building simple, creative and 'alive' feeling designs for large amounts of dynamic data
- Multi-disciplinary skills across the UI / UX spectrum
- Solid Figma, Sketch, lnVision (or other preferred prototyping tools) and Adobe Suite competency
- An understanding of HTML & CSS, demonstrating design skills that considers the limitations and possibilities that your dev team works within
- Ability to work with product managers, developers and other designers to deliver intuitive user flows across all interface design.
- Experience in testing and quality assurance on all projects.
- Curiosity and passion for pushing the envelope on design norms
