The Operations Manager will be responsible for the effective management a team inclusive of DIFOT, WHS and Chain Of Responsibility at a state of the art new Industry automated processing facility. They are looking for a dynamic thinker who is committed to continuously improve and strive for excellence every day. You will have the ability to work cohesively within in a team and can work unsupervised to achieve the desired outcome is key to success in the role.

Adecco is thrilled to work with a National client who are currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Operations Manager to join the team. As an Operations Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing various operational functions and driving efficiency within the organisation. If you have a strong background in warehouse, fleet management, and dispatch, along with proven leadership skills, we would love to hear from you.

**Description**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee warehouse operations, fleet management, and dispatch activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Lead a team of 7-9 individuals initially, with the aim of expanding the team to 20 in the coming years.
- Ensure compliance with transport safety requirements, including CoR (Chain of Responsibility), BFM (Basic Fatigue Management), loading regulations, and Oracle systems (Preferable).
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes to optimise cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Demonstrate strategic thinking capabilities to develop and implement operational plans that align with company objectives.

**Profile**

To be considered for this role, you will have
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge and experience in warehouse, fleet management, and dispatch operations.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Familiarity with transport safety requirements, including CoR, BFM, and loading regulations.
- Experience in vendor and procurement management.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking capability to drive operational improvements
