**About the role**
Equans ANZ is seeking a **Procurement Analyst** to join our high-performing team based in Fairfield, Victoria. This newly created position will be responsible for the development of procurement intelligence to inform critical procurement decision making, performance improvement and meet business needs and expectations. You will source relevant data to provide critical analysis and cost modelling, reporting and performance analysis to support effective supply chain management, compliance and governance to ensure frameworks are in place to safeguard the Equans business.
**In this role you will**
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and business partners to determine business needs, key insights and reporting requirements to inform key decision-making.
- Identify and implement analytical tools, techniques and systems to interpret supplier and organisational information.
- Design, develop and implement forecasting and reporting frameworks for effective supplier management and business deliverables.
- Support and assist with financial analysis of RFP’s, preparing weekly/monthly reports, budget analysis and forecasting to meet key procurement objectives.
- Ensure a continuous improvement lens is applied across internal procurement processes to enhance and further develop procurement knowledge, embedding structured analysis and advice.
- Negotiations and modifications in relation to purchase orders and contracts and maintain and update supplier information, qualifications, delivery times and product ranges.
- Building rapport and robust supplier relationships to meet Equans service needs.
**Technical qualifications and experience**
- Tertiary qualification in relevant field ie. Finance, Business Management or Engineering (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience within a multi-faceted organisation and procurement environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Suite - experience in spreadsheet reporting manipulation, pivot tables and functions
- Excellent attention to detail and sophisticated written and verbal skills
- An analytical mindset with a problem-solving mentality
- The ability to work autonomously and within a high-performing team environment
- Supervisory or management experience (highly regarded)
