**The Role**:

**Key Duties and Accountabilities**
- Providing a reception service for visitors and staff to the office ensuring visitor registration protocols are followed.
- Responding to, and appropriately handling, deliveries and phone and in person inquiries on behalf of the agency.
- Set up and coordinate events and meetings held in publicly accessible meeting rooms as requested
- Acting as the primary point of contact for office and facilities activities (such as couriers, cleaners, building management liaison)
- Coordination of the office's physical mail including post office collection, scanning and distribution (including electronic triage) of incoming mail in accordance with procedures.
- Arranging couriers including associated record keeping for cost centre allocation and tracking.
- Coordinating the procurement of office equipment, stationery and sundries

**Key Capabilities**
- 6+ months experience in similar administration role
- Able to provide high-quality administrative support with strong attention to detail
- Communicates effectively with internal and external clients to provide responsive, accurate and relevant information and services
- Good initiative when responding to challenges in a pressured and changing environment
- Effective problem-solving ability
- Able to exercises tact, diplomacy and discretion when required
- Prioritises and uses time effectively
- Must have the right to work in Australia and be willing to undergo a Police Check
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid
