Vue de monde is actively seeking an experienced Head Host.

As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in welcoming and providing an exceptional experience to all guests visiting Vue de Monde, the Lui Bar, and Vue Events. Our venues offer an incomparable experience, boasting sweeping views across Melbourne, sophisticated and luxurious spaces, and world-class offerings.
- Proven experience in a fine dining or similar high-end hospitality environment, with expertise as a Host.
- Proven experience working with a reservation and/or point of sale system.
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service and exceptional communication skills.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and maintain composure during busy periods.
- Flexibility in scheduling, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Possession of a valid Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
- A desire to perform at the highest level
- Certificate in hospitality

This position will require flexibility and weekend work, your shifts and may comprise of a combination of day and night shifts in accordance with business demands.

The day-to-day will include:

- Acting as the primary point of contact for all guests attending Level 55
- Providing exceptional customer service and assistance to guests
- Guest management including maintenance of guests' profiles ensuring they’re kept up to date with current information and accurate recording of all relevant guest information
- Communicate and liaise with relevant internal stakeholders to confirm bookings, relay customer feedback and other enquiries or concerns
- Taking reservations
- Greeting and seating guests on their arrival at the restaurant
- Assist with the service of Food and beverage.
- Setting and arranging tables.

This is a full-time position that will require flexibility and weekend work, your shifts and may comprise of a combination of day and night shifts in accordance with business demands.

**Remuneration**:
Full Time Hourly Employment Agreement

$26.18 Monday - Friday

$32.73 Saturday

$39.27 Sunday

Overtime, penalty rates, allowances and loadings will be paid in accordance with the Restaurant Industry Award 2020
