UX Designer

**UX Designer**
**Location Hobart or Melbourne**
**Salary $120K Plus Super and Incentives**

**Our Client**:
Is a fast-growing technology innovator within Data Centre technology.

**Role**:
This is a newly created role, reporting to the Head of IT and tasked with being the lead UX Designer across the business.

There will be a strong focus on technology-related UX Design as our client build new and innovative customer-facing products, including a customer portal. However, you will likely be required to support the business across additional areas, including marketing collateral and internal facing communications.

**Responsibilities**:

- Management of UX Design process and delivery from start to finish.
- Working closely with the development team and leadership team to ensure the design is in line with company expectations and desires
- Creation of great design.
- Plan and conduct user research and competitor analysis.
- Interpret data and qualitative feedback.
- Create user stories, personas, and storyboards.
- Determine information architecture and create sitemaps.
- Create prototypes and wireframes.
- Conduct usability testing.

**Experience desired to succeed in the role**:

- 5 + years in a UX Design role, ideally with time spent in one or more technology-focused businesses.
- Tertiary qualification in Design or Technology related field
- Experience with and understanding of CSS and HTML
- Technically savvy and experienced with technology platforms.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills and ability to influence and challenge constructively.
- Highly refined written and verbal communication skills.
