**THE OPPORTUNITY**
We are seeking Part Time Casual Teachers to work within the Horticulture/Parks & Gardens Team at our Richmond Campus.
This position is casual and has a pay rate of $84.69 per hour. For full details about the position please review the Position Description and Information Pack.
**ABOUT YOU**
You are passionate and motivated about sharing your extensive industry experience. Your knowledge of Horticulture is diverse. You have the ambition and drive to succeed and mentor students, passing on your experience and knowledge, and you have demonstrated experience in delivering training in an adult learning environment. You are someone who invests in personal and professional development and has a positive, forward-thinking approach to learning
To be considered for the role you will have:
- One of the following industry qualifications:
- Certificate III of Horticulture or Equivalent CIII speciality (Trade) qualification
- Certificate IV of Horticulture or Equivalent speciality qualification
- Diploma of Horticulture or Equivalent speciality qualification
- Have a minimum of 3 years relevant and current post qualification experience as a Horticulturist.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116), Diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education or equivalent.
- Comprehensive current knowledge of the industry and job roles with a strong understanding of current trends and diversity within the Horticulture sector.
- Demonstrated organisational and administrative skills applicable to an educational setting.
- Drive, commitment, and ability to facilitate learning in an adult environment
