Cheerleading & Tumbling/gymnastics Coach

Cheer N Dance Athletics (Formally Cheer N Dance Bendigo) is a Cheerleading, Dance, Tumbling and Ballet Gym located in two gym locations, Bendigo (Vic), 1.5 hours north of Melbourne and Ballina (NSW), 1 hour south of Gold Coast. Currently in a high growth phase, we operate 6 days per week and service around 450 athletes weekly. Having been in operation for 18 years, our focus now is rapid growth, performance measured programs and a high quality culture that results in being a gym of choice for both athletes, families and employees.

Based at the Bendigo Gym and reporting directly to the Programs Director, a Coach performs work to the level of their training and works from instructions or procedures either individually or in a team environment. A Coach is responsible for activities that are consistent with the activities, sessions or team training that they are assigned or rostered onto, as well as communication and interaction with athletes and families that create a positive athlete experience and high level collaboration with management.

Key Requirements:

- Demonstrated experience in coaching in a position appropriate to the role or similar
- Friendly, outgoing, honest and approachable personality
- Exceptional communication skills
- Proven history of contribution towards an environment that values support and positive experiences for customers and employees
- A high level positive attitude

Required:

- A holder of a current and relevant Coach Accreditation or equivalent or be willing to obtain

Any of the following is highly regarded:

- Certificate III & IV in Fitness.
- Industry specific qualifications in All Star Cheer, Dance and/or Gymnastics.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $23.23 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 38 per week
