Horticulturist Apprenticeship

**Important Qualities**
- Self-motivated, Punctual and Reliable
- Physically fit
- Courteous to customers and co-workers
- Prior garden maintenance experience (even hobby/home)
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Current manual driver’s license

**Tasks Include**
- Installing and maintaining gardens and lawns to a very high standard
- Installing and maintaining irrigation systems
- Planting, pruning, hedging, training and propagating plants
- Identifying and treating plant pests and diseases
- Installing mulch, soils and soil improvement products
- Providing recommendations for landscaping improvements
