- 257061Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Security Expert to provide senior information and cyber security analysis and oversee the technical implementation and delivery of priority cyber security services to the department and its partners. This role involves working in a small team overseen by Agency project management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Align cyber security controls with corporate information and cyber security requirements.
- Assess and report on cyber security policies, procedures, and controls for the project and services.
- Oversee validation activities for cyber security projects.
- Provide expert technical advice and support on Governance Risk Compliance (GRC) best practices in government information and cyber security policy.
- Document and deliver various technical/risk assessment reports, including Security Risk Assessments, Threat and Risk Assessments, and Privacy Impact Assessments.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with other service providers to build security services and project delivery capability.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
- Encourage innovation, continuous improvement, and manage and support change.
- Provide leadership and direction for GRC services and activities to support projects.
- Assess and report information and cyber security risks, governance, and compliance controls.
- Provide leadership on GRC system and process management at the organizational and business levels.

**Mandatory Criteria**:

- Demonstrated experience delivering governance, risk, and compliance documentation using Federal Government information security policy and ACSCs Cyber Security principles and guidelines.

**Weighted Criteria**:

- Demonstrated experience in supporting the delivery of strategic, contemporary cyber security solutions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry Cyber Security frameworks, best practices, and standards.
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry public cloud best practices and standards.
