Princess Polly is seeking an established Accessories Buyer to bring their buying expertise to our growing accessories department. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and developing trend-driven, commercial and regionally appropriate accessories to expand our product offerings. As the Accessories Buyer at Princess Polly, you will be the key player in driving the growth and success of our accessories department. With your expert buying skills and passion for fashion, you will be responsible for sourcing and developing the latest, on-trend accessories to meet the needs of our customers.

To achieve this, you must have a strong understanding of the Princess Polly customer and be able to identify and act on relevant trends. You will stay up-to-date on current trends by monitoring social media, influencers, competitors, aspirational brands, and runways, ensuring that our product offerings are always fresh and exciting.

In addition to sourcing new accessories, you will also be responsible for building monthly product ranges that are balanced across categories, customer, trend, colour, and style. You will also be expected to increase department sales margins and minimum margins for new styles, analyse daily sales information, and monitor stock deliverables to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

The Accessories Buyer will work closely with suppliers to build strong relationships and bring the best products to our customers. You will also be responsible for mentoring and providing guidance to a junior buyer, helping them grow and develop under your leadership.

**What Success looks like**:

- Source and develop regionally appropriate accessories in line with company targets
- Stay ahead of current trends by continually monitoring social media, influencers, competitors, and runways
- Build monthly product ranges that are balanced across categories, customer, trend, colour, and style
- Increase department sales margins and minimum margins for new styles
- Analyze daily sales information and monitor stock deliverables
- Build strong vendor and team relationships

**Skills and Experience**:

- 3+ years of buying experience, including leadership experience in a forward fashion
- A keen interest in accessories buying, or this category range
- A creative eye with a passion for fashion and trends
- Strong data analysis and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and have a great eye for product
- Familiarity with the Princess Polly brand and customer
