Epping Timber Joinery & Hardware Co Pty Ltd is a busy timber yard in the northern suburbs that has been supplying timber and materials to domestic and commercial building sites throughout the Melbourne and metro area for more than 55 years.

We are a privately-owned Australian company with a reputation for being competitive on price and quality, and a focus on traditional customer service. Opportunities exist for a Yard Person to join our team here at Epping Timber.

Your duties would include:

- Picking customer orders from picking slips and packing ready for dispatch.
- Unloading/loading of trucks and putting stock away,
- Serving our customers when pick-ups are required.
- Delivering timber/hardware products to building sites and unloading by hand, tipping or crane (desirable).

The skills you should have:

- Accuracy in preparing orders (correct counting is essential).
- Experience operating a forklift.
- HR, Truck Crane (desirable but not essential) and Forklift Licence.
- Excellent driving record and safe delivery procedures.
- Capable of listening and following instructions.
- Excellent standard of fitness and capable of safe manual handling.
- Ability to work independently as well as a team member.
