Our client is hiring for the position of ‘Class Teacher’ at Edgecliff in Paddington. This will be a full-time position and the Class Techer is responsible for the general academic progress and the pastoral care of the boys in their class.

**Job Duties**
- Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning in English, Maths, PDH and Inquiry
- Develop schemes of work, lesson plans and tests that are in accordance with established procedures.
- Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
- Manage student behaviour in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the School.
- Provide appropriate feedback on Student work.
- Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.
- Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues and parents regarding student progress and student needs.
- Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
- Prepare classroom for class activities.
- Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities.
- Observe and evaluate student's performance and development.
- Implement strategies to achieve targets related to student learning outcomes
- Maintain records of class attendance and recording student progress

**Skills and experience Required**
- Relevant bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience as a primary school teacher
- Strong communication skills
- Awareness of children’s needs

**Salary**: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 2 years (preferred)
