**About the Role**

Trinity Catholic College have an exciting position for a **English Teacher **to join our team. To be successful in a classroom teaching role, you will have the demonstrated ability to be an innovative classroom teacher, who is committed to the College’s philosophy that every student can learn, employing a wide range of student centred learning strategies and who is willing to explore models of teaching, including explicit instructon, to improve outcomes for all students.

**Essential Criteria**

The successful applicant will possess and be able to demonstrate:

- A strong commitment to the College’s Catholic ethos and a willingness to foster it in the College community.
- The demonstrated ability to be an innovative classroom teacher, who is committed to excellence in education, employing a wide range of student centred learning strategies and willing to explore models of teaching, including explicit instruction, to improve outcomes for all students.
- Excellent relational skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, including a commitment to nurturing the whole person and developing respectful relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
- The demonstrated ability to enhance learning through the use of technology and a proactive approach to ongoing developments in technology.
- A demonstrated ability to manage students in a variety of contexts and to work within the College’s Student Behaviour Support Policy.
