- **What qualifications and skills do you bring to the table?**_
- Trade Certificate
- Proven extensive experience in a fitter role - _minimum 4 years_
- Prior knowledge of specialist hydraulic tools _is highly advantageous_, our client can offer training
- White Card - Highly desirable
- **Key duties and responsibilities**:_
- _**Training and guidance of apprentices**_
- Identify, locate, and repair faults on a wide range of hydraulic equipment and tools.
- Consult technical drawings to determine equipment function and construction.
- Plan and organize materials, tools, and specialized equipment for repairs.
- Assemble disassembled tools from suppliers.
- Manufacture and test hydraulic hoses.
- Test, tag, and calibrate metrology equipment on-site and in-branch.
- Order workshop consumables to replenish stock.
- Conduct diagnostic testing to ensure accuracy of finished work.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work.
- Maintain tidy work area and workshop.
- Update customers on repair status as needed.
- Coordinate with other branches as required.
- Conduct repairs at customer sites when necessary
