Our Client is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Acquisition Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Manager, with relevant knowledge of the Defence Capability Life Cycle (CLC) and Fundamental Inputs to Capability(FIC), to operate as an embedded part of the Platform Integrated Electronic Systems (Plat-IES) team.

LC4 Mod SPO enables Defence Capability through the delivery of integrated LC4 products and systems, and its purpose is to enhance Defence’s capabilities in planning and conducting military activities, and in meeting interoperability and international obligations.

**Deliverables**:

- Coordinate and undertake core inventory management activities, including Problematic Items of Supply (PIOS) management, procurements, recommended provisioning list (RPL) development, life of type buys, disposal directives; and Report on Defective or Unsatisfactory Materiel (RODUM);
- Conduct development and updates to ILS plans, documents and technical instructions such as the ILS Management Plan, Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), Obsolescence Management Plan, and technical data packs and manuals in support of transition;
- Undertake or facilitate the necessary logistics and in-service engagement with other DLMs, SPOs, JLUs, and Defence organisations;
- Undertake or provide support to the codification and cataloguing of Not-in-Catalogue (NIC) items to support integration and in-service requirements, and in compliance with Defence logistics policy;
- Conduct or provide support to procurement activities, including tender evaluation and source selection to ensure Value for Money and compliance with policy; and
- Manage inventory and associated Logistics Information Systems, and conduct governance and assurance functions to ensure that their use is in accordance with the relevant policy and processes

**Essential Criteria**:

- Experience in ILS to support project or product delivery;
- Experience in supply chain or Supply Support, including inventory management and through life support to capability;
- Demonstrated ability to interpret policies and procedures and provide sound and timely advice;
- The ability to establish milestones and play a significant role in the assignment of tasks and/or responsibilities;
- The ability to support and work in teams comprised of an experienced APS, ADF and contractor workforce to deliver agreed outcomes on time; and
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to build and sustain strong working relationships both internally and externally to Defence
- A qualified practitioner with a recognised Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Level 6qualification in a relevant domain, or relevant industry experience of more than 8 years; and
- Knowledge and experience with inventory management and Logistics Information Systems, including Military Integrated Logistics Information System (MILIS), and/or Systems, Applications and Products (SAP) / Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
