With your can-do attitude, you will be responsible for the direct care of our residents ensuring they are able to "Live Life to the Full" in our home-like environment. This individual will be located in our homely facility at Southern Cross Care John Woodward Aged Care Facility. We have multiple vacancies available these are as below.

**We are currently seeking a Part Time Care Service Employee, working 3-4 nights per week**

**Your duties will include**:

- Providing emotional and social support whilst assisting residents with a range of daily life activities
- Supporting residents with self-care including grooming, bathing and dressing
- Reporting any changes of resident to the Registered Nurse on the shift duty
- Assisting with mobility including using mechanical lifting aids and ensuring the resident's comfort
- Assisting in mealtimes and social activities.
- Minimum 2 years Aged Care experience
- Unlimited work restrictions
- Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support/ 2nd year Nursing students who have completed 1 placement.
- A genuine enthusiasm, care and compassion in your commitment to working with elderly people
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Respect for all people, regardless of background, age, gender, religion and ethnicity
