If successful, your duties will include, but not be limited to:

- Coordinate with production and sales departments to plan and schedule despatch of products.
- Supervise the loading and unloading of trucks and ensure the correct handling of hazardous chemicals.
- Prepare despatch documentation, including invoices and delivery notes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, including the safe handling and storage of hazardous chemicals.
- Liaise with transport companies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
- Track and monitor delivery schedules to ensure on-time delivery of products to customers.
- Resolve any delivery-related issues, such as delays or damages, and communicate with customers regarding any changes to delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and stock levels to ensure efficient despatch operations.
- Continuously evaluate and improve despatch processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

To be considered for this role you will need:

- Proven experience in a despatch or logistics role, preferably in a chemical or manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations and requirements.
- Ability to use computer software such as Microsoft Office and despatch management systems.
- Forklift and dangerous goods handling certification preferred.
