Information Technology Traineeship

Maxima and our host employer, City of Tea Tree Gully, are seeking an IT enthusiast to undertake an entry-level IT traineeship.

City of Tea Tree Gully are a progressive north-eastern Adelaide council that is renown for innovation and service excellence. The council area has natural open spaces, walking trails and cycling paths, along with a broad range of recreation facilities and community events.

**The Role**:
Throughout this 12-month traineeship you will learn to provide efficient and effective helpdesk support to all staff and customers while being exposed to a range of IT infrastructure, systems, and issues. You will also be paid to study towards a nationally recognised
**Certificate III in Information Technology**

You will have a dedicated Maxima consultant to help support and guide you throughout this traineeship.

**Duties Include**:

- Handle incoming IT related enquiries and requests from staff
- Provide tech support and troubleshooting
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance to IT equipment
- Liaise with vendors to escalate issues and maintenance
- Gather reports on ticketing and system issues
- Work with a mixture of Microsoft, Google, Android, and Apple technologies

- Ability to prioritise tasks and juggle various deadlines

**Role Requirements**:

- Cannot have completed a Certificate III in IT or higher (e.g. Bachelor or Masters)
- Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- National Police Clearence (or willing to obtain)
- Customer service experience (desirable)
