**The Role and Responsibilities**:
Southern Cross Veterinary Clinic is looking for a receptionist to join our team. The responsibilities for the role include:

- Following a daily checklist of admin tasks
- Answering calls and triaging incoming clients
- Meeting and engaging with clients, we are customer service super stars
- Greeting and receiving their animals
- Scheduling appointments, surgeries and boardings
- Taking payments for invoices and communicating invoice breakdown
- Rearranging diary to accommodate emergencies and daily work flow
- Cleaning, tidying and maintaining reception environment

**- Must be Flexible with hours/days. Can work both day time, evening and weekend shifts as there will be a range of shifts to cover.**
- Currently studying in vet or animal care or has an interest in animals
- Proactive, a multi-tasker, prioritise and a team player
- Available at short notice
- Willing to work weekends
- Works well under pressure
- A fast learner, adaptable and problem solver
- Bright, bubbly & well presented
- Must have Customer Service Skills
- Computer literate
