How you will make an impact
Cabrini has available openings for Pharmacy Interns to commence on a 12 month fixed term contract commencing January 2025. Build and develop your pharmacy skills in a supportive team environment working with dedicated and experienced staff.
Under direct supervision you will:
- Assist pharmacists with dispensing, labelling and packaging of medications, and prepares labels as required- Assist with the manufacture and delivery of sterile, cytotoxic and extemporaneous preparations- Assist with schedules 8 and 11 documentation- Provide general assistance to the Pharmacists as required/directed- Provide pharmaceutical information to health professionals as required- Participate in quality improvement activities within the department
About you
You will need to enrol in an Intern Training Program with an accredited provider and also have the following:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent Registration- Provisional Pharmacist Registration with AHPRA- Demonstrated team, quality and customer service focus- Commitment to ongoing education and professional development- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters Knowledge- Effective communication skills and computer skills- Well-developed organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks- Ability to search and analyse medical and paramedical literature- Advanced presentation and writing skills
