- To provide web content copy writing and editing, web publishing, and electronic scanning to assess accessibility, levels of search engine optimization for the department websites, including the department’s intranet. Responsibilities include, maintaining the department’s web presence and functionality, specifically the analysis and quality assurance of content for all external sites and the intranet. As a member of the Web Services team the Content Publisher will liaise with business units including Corporate Communications to determine publishing needs and content, web development priorities.We are a diverse and inclusive workplace that understands the importance of flexibility. **Period of Appointment**:
Appointment to the role is on a fixed term part-time basis (0.5 FTE) basis for two (2) years.

**Duties**:

- Provide web content analysis advice as well as contribute to the development and management of the department’s combined web presence in conjunction with the Web Services Team.
- Liaise with business units to define, collate, and publish their web content, in conjunction with the department’s policies and procedures.
- Provide web publishing management of State Growth’s external websites and intranet, specifically edit, and refine web content for consistency of message and alignment with Department of State Growth requirements.
- Provide advice regarding web content management systems to management and assist other team members in how to produce and maintain high quality content publishing in line with agreed standards and procedures.
- Conduct the training of business units in the use of content management software programs for web publishing and web content development.
- Provide general technical support for the department’s directories and other web-based client services.
