**Tug Driver / Terminal Tractor / Combination Driver - DC operations**

Responsible for the safe and timely transportation of trailers from dock to dock in a busy distribution centre. This role is a safety critical role and prior demonstrated experience in this environment is required.

Shifts are a mix of weekday and weekend shifts, which can be further discussed. This is for an ongoing, permanent, secure position.

Tasks relating to the role include but are not limited to:

- Safely operate a terminal tractor vehicle or prime mover, adhering to traffic laws and organisational safety protocols within the DC.
- Efficiently and safely shuttle trailers from dock to dock in a fast paced and busy environment.
- Follow designated routes to ensure on-time, safe and efficient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and complete records as required.
- Report any damage, incidents, or exceptions promptly.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Secondary education or equivalent

At least one (1) year of heavy vehicle driving experience. Excellent driving record with no preventive accident

in the past 12 months and experience working within a busy distribution centre. Referees will be checked for demonstration of this outcome.

Minimum HC Licence **REQUIRED.**

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $42.00 - $46.92 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 15 per week
