**The Work Group**

Our
**Finance** division has multiple permanent opportunities for
**Instrument Technician** to be located in
**Toowoomba, Maryborough and Brisbane**. The Equipment test team is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of routine field and depot-based testing, inspection, calibration and repair activities of field operational and safety tools and equipment. Including insulating tools, height safety equipment, test instruments, insulating gloves, EWP’s and portable electrical equipment.

**The Role**

As an
**Instrument Technician, or Calibration Technician,** you will be responsible for calibration and repair of instruments to meet the requirements of Ergon Energy, Energex and other customers. You will be responsible for managing and performing a range of activities, and for achieving continuous improvement in the team’s level of productivity, safety, job satisfaction and quality.
- Be trade qualified with a Queensland Electrical Fitter Mechanic Licence or restricted Electrical licence;
- Hold a C class drivers Licence
- Demonstrated knowledge of calibration processes, complex calibration practices, equipment and testing techniques under a NATA Accredited Laboratory environment, including familiarity with Fluke calibration equipment and Metcal software (or similar calibration systems).
- **Extensive regional and possible state-wide travel will be required.**
