Kitchen Hand

Our client based in Fortitude Valley require a casual kitchen hand for an ongoing 5 days per week role.

Shifts will commence anywhere between 8.00am and 10.00am (8 hour shifts)

Opportunity for long term as your experience progresses.

Arrive by train and foot - no parking in area.

- Commercial kitchen experience required

**Tasks & responsibilities**

This is a hands on role where you will support all production processes to ensure all items required for production are clean and ready to use.

Daily duties will include washing all dishes, utensils, machine parts etc used during any production run. This role also includes the setup, operation and shut down of a vertical conveyor dishwasher as well as keeping the washing area (including walls and floors) clean and tidy.

You will ensure all items sent to the wash area are cleaned correctly to comply with Safe Food Handling Standards and the Food Standards Code/Act, while maintaining company quality standards.

**Salary**: $27.00 - $28.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Commercial Kitchen: 1 year (preferred)
