Bookings Officer

**$72,330 per annum (Band 4) *Pro rata, plus super**, **Temporary Part time 16 hours per week till September 2023**

**What is a Bookings Officer for Hume?**

Working as part of the Community Centres and Venues Booking Officer plays a vital role in supporting the team in providing excellence in a customer service capacity including responding, advising, and confirming bookings for various venues and gatherings across the municipality.

**Key Skills**
- Bookings for community facilities from clients, ensuring that booking meets requirements and criteria.
- Assess bookings for issues that should be raised with the Centre/Venue Leader, Team Leaders and Coordinator and / or other senior officers.
- Provide high quality, accurate and timely information to the community, in person, by telephone or online.
- Work closely with and Community Centres and Venues to ensure bookings are entered into the electronic booking system accurately with precise detail.
- Provide detailed quotes and information to client outlining all details for their enquiry.

- Experience in handling booking enquiries for venues using an electronic booking system.
- Excellent skills and ability to manage several tasks, set priorities and organise work within these priorities while being flexible and adaptable to switch tasks as required.
- Ability and experience in working as part of team and willingness to contribute and participate in team.
