**About the opportunity**

As our **Retail Postage Sorter**, you’ll play an important part in keeping millions of Australians connected. As you’d expect, plenty of mail comes through our Post Offices and delivery facilities every day - and our mail sorting teams make sure every delivery gets where it needs to.

**Role Details**:

- Permanent Part Time position working 15 hours per week | 3 hours per day Rotating roster from Monday - Saturday
- Extensive, supportive training on commencement, from Monday - Friday, 4 - 5 hour shift daily for initial 8 weeks
- You’ll need to be comfortable to travel to all locations **Brisbane GPO, Chermside Post Shop, Hamilton Central Post Shop, Lutwyche Post Shop, Fortitude Valley Post Shop, George Street Post Shop, New Farm Post Shop and West End Post Shop.**:

- Access to all Australia Post job openings to advance your career

**You’ll be**:

- Manually sorting all mail arriving at the workplace
- Sorting and distributing mail into relevant PO Boxes
- Assisting and/or performing administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance

**About you**

You’re friendly, enthusiastic and reliable and you love the balance of working in a team environment and autonomously. You’re motivated by the opportunity to help make a difference to your community. You'll also need to:

- Call upon your memory and hand-eye coordination while sorting
- Be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift
