The Planshop is an architectural design and structural engineering company based in Australia.

We provide range of drafting services to architects, engineers, builders, and other construction professionals. The Planshop has a team of experiences drafters who possess in-depth knowledge of drafting standards and building codes.

We are currently looking for a **Full** **Time
- Steel Structure Draftsperson** to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supporting the structural engineering team by creating accurate and detailed technical drawing and documents
- Assist the structural engineering team with design tasks by creating drawings based on their specifications and calculations.
- Creating structural models, preparing reinforcement details, and producing design documentation.
- Work closely with structural engineers, architects, and other members of the design team to ensure accurate representation of their design intent.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and timelines.

**Skills**:

- Relevant qualification.
- At least 3 years minimum experience in the area.
- Strong command of computer-aided design (CAD) software like AutoCad, Revit, or Tekla Structures.
- Knowledge of steel structure principles.
- Effective communication with structural engineers, architects, and other team member is vital.
- Collaboration and teamwork.
- Flexibility.
- Interpersonal face to face skills with clients.
- Driver’s license.
- White Card.
- Experience with InDesign, Photoshop, and graphic design principles. (desirable)
- Marketing experience. (High regarded)
- Interior Design knowledge. (High regarded)

**Job Type**:Full Time

**Salary Offered**:$75,000 plus superannuation

**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

**Benefits**:

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Surry Hills, NSW 2010: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
