Teachers Assistant

**Our program helps young adults with a mild to moderate disability transition from school into meaningful paid employment.**

**The Job**:
We need more team members as our program grows and so are currently seeking dynamic individuals - outgoing and enthusiastic new team members to work in our Learning Centre in **Penrith NSW.**

You will be passionate and sociable and a part of a tight knit, high performing team where you will work with our clients creating enriched personal relationships and assisting to build life-skills assisting Trainees to move towards paid employment. Johnny H is different to other service providers - we provide services to clients with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities, which will enhance our clients with a greater personal and community engagement.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Strong communication skills with all Stakeholders
- Previous experience facilitating small group sessions is preferred
- Experience in a similar role not essential but you may have worked as a teacher aide, activities officer or as a group instructor
- Strong sense of community and engagement
- Desire to go above and beyond
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Penrith NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- covid 9 vaccination status (required)
