Are you an experienced early learning professional who’s ready to take their career to the next level, honing leadership skills and helping to build a successful business?

As the Assistant Director, you will use your experience and leadership qualities to engage and motivate your centre team to drive continuous improvement in all aspects across centre operation. You will work in collaboration with your centre leadership team and establish respectful and reciprocal relationships with families and engage in networks within the centre’s local community.

**About Goodstart**:
Our purpose-built centre is located on Anzac Highway and provides much-needed care for local families. Featuring seven spacious learning spaces over a single level and a separate nursery sleep room, Goodstart Plympton is designed as a modern yet home-like, naturally inspired environment. Our centre is open Monday to Friday 6.30am-6.30pm, and is licenced for 111 children per day from 6 weeks to school aged.

A major focus for our centre is how working with the broader community can help us enrich the children’s learning experience. Through visits to the centre as well as excursions and participation in community events, we are able to deepen the relationship between the centre and the community, while teaching the children about being a contributing and active member of society.

**In this role, you will**:
Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care

Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team

Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence

Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
