Principal Strategic Planner (Technical)
- Local Government
- Up to $66.61 hourly rate + Super
- Monday to Friday (9:00am to 5:00pm)
- Noosa Location
- Long term casual ongoing, full time hourly basis

**A Day in The Life**

Your day to day will involve the following tasks and responsibilities:

- Evaluate impacts of major strategic projects, state government plans, and legislation on Council policies, identifying key issues.
- Conduct policy development and research
- Offer strategic planning advice on land use matters including housing, employment, rural, and hazard mitigation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders for inclusive review of planning policies, integrating growth with the protection of core values.
- Manage assigned projects, including consultant engagement, budgeting, and staff coordination.
- Provide written and verbal advice to Council and stakeholders, coordinating community consultation programs.
- Current ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence
- Experience in project management
- Relevant tertiary or professional qualifications is highly desirable
