CGC Recruitment are experts in providing short term construction and engineering resources to main and mid-tier Civil Contractors in QLD and Nationally across Australia. Through industry reputation we have been approached by a Tier 1 Contractor to source a Structures Foreman to work on a 6 month contract basis on one of Brisbane's most Iconic Bridge projects.

The role will work alongside the project Superintendent and will involve overseeing all construction works managing both direct hire and a number of specialist subcontractors. You will lead crews to complete all site establishment from piling works, major concrete structures and services.Your main responsibility will include:

- Responsible for safety toolboxes meetings
- Responsible Daily Pre-start meetings
- Responsible for WHS
- Complete Foreman’s Daily Work Diary
- Work directly with the superintendent and project managers around design issues and project progress

The position requires a seasoned Foreman who can hit the ground running, motivate crews and lead construction activities in a brownfield environment.

Selection Criteria:

- Minimum 10 years Construction experience
- Must possess heavy concrete structures experience
- Experience coordinating crane climbs, permit and approvals
- Strong Leadership skills
- Excellent communications skills
- Able to read and understand designs and drawings
