Position Overview

The Payroll Assistant is a key supporting role for the payroll team responsible for data processing and other daily payroll tasks. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Assistant ensures that all transactions and enquiries are completed with a high level of accuracy. This role will be trained in all areas of payroll administration on entry to MCRI.

We are seeking a motivated Payroll Assistant who is eager to learn as training will be provided.

**The role will see you with primary responsibility of**:
Processing changes to employees master file and reporting lines
Processing payroll deductions (salary packaging, car parking, crèche, employee events)

**End of months reporting**: GL reports, leave reports, master file reports, HR related data reports
Resolving employees and managers queries in a professional manner
Working collaboratively with other departments such as HR, IT and accounting

**About You**:
Very high attention to detail and problem solving skills
An analytical mind and good math skills
Ability to work autonomously and as part of the broader team
(Desired) SAP payroll experience
(Desired) Understanding of health awards
