In this rewarding role you will work in a team environment where every day will be different. The positions will be offered as Full time Permanent role at covering the four facilities: Thornton Park, Marsfield, Greystanes and Merrylands.
Provide quality, clinical governance and clinical education support for residential facilities or home care services.
- Promote contemporary practices across Residential facilities or Home Care services to support adherence with SCC policies and procedures, relevant standards, legislation and accepted industry practices
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the organisation quality management system
- Respond to the clinical care and educational needs of Residential facilities or Home Care services as directed by, and in consultation with the Quality Support Team, Regional / Operational Manager and/or GM Care Operations.

**Essential**
- Current Authority to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) or Enrolled Nurse General with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency
- Current driver’s license
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment (TAE40110) or willing to complete same
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development
- Minimum of three (3) years post registration / enrolment clinical experience
- Evaluating workplace practices against accreditation standards, quality systems, and organisation policies and procedures
- Developing, implementing, monitoring and continuous improvement of quality systems
- Working with learners using adult education approaches
- Aged Care Accreditation Standards
- Relevant State and Commonwealth legislation
- Principles of continuous quality improvement, clinical governance and person-centred care
- Aged care clinical assessment and management tools
- Aged care documentation requirements
- Excellent oral communication skills, including the ability to liaise at all levels within the facility/service and work as part of a team
- Effective report writing skills
- Well-developed analytical, reflective and systems thinking and problem solving skills
- Effective time management and prioritisation skills
**Desirable**
- Post graduate qualification in adult education, aged care, palliative care or mental health
- Aged care funding instrument and associated documentation requirements
