We are looking to welcome an enthusiastic, and talented individual to the newly created full or part time role of Civil Inspector. The successful applicant will join our dynamic and talented team **based on the Sunshine Coast**.

**Your role**:
Will be to ensure that detailed quality related activities are undertaken on the project, assuring that the product offered by the relevant project complies with the contractual requirements of the client and RECOR are fully implemented.

The role will include, but will not be limited to:

- Administer the delivery of construction and/or maintenance projects including programming, monitoring of expenditure, controlling, and reviewing of project priorities.
- Act as designated superintendent when required.
- Review of contractors' program of works, quality, environment, safety, and traffic management plans, and identify deficiencies.
- Follow up on any identified deviations to ensure compliance has been achieved.
- Conduct and/or manage audits of contractors' works, processes, and quality records to ensure compliance with governance and contract conditions, including specialised inspections.
- Maintain and/or manage the collection of detailed records (site diaries, test results, photos) and reports at a standard suitable for presentation in a legal environment.
- Maintain the competencies and work standards required, and where necessary initiate training to maintain skills.
- Maintain a good working relationship with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Attend and participate in site, company and client meetings as required.
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned from time to time.
- Will have a working knowledge of engineering policies, procedures, practices, and specifications.
- Will effectively manage new and unexpected events using initiative to achieve objectives and demonstrate judgement about when to escalate issues.
- Effectively manage internal and external relationships building networks with peers and working collaboratively with others settling disputes equitably by finding common ground and gaining cooperation.
- A sense of humour.
- Diploma in Civil Supervision, or equivalent.
- A current driver’s license.
- Willing to undergo a pre-employment, criminal history check.
- Willingness to travel as required, potentially for periods of time.

**Role Availability - Immediate Start**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
