**As Theatre Technician your responsibilities will include**:
Transporting patient to and from peri-operative suite Assisting within the operating theatre as delegated by the nursing team Providing assistance with patient manual handling Courier items as delegated by nursing team Undertake cleaning of the operating theatre between cases as per facility protocol Waste removal from peri operative suite Assembly of required equipment pertaining to day to day requirement.

**Key Capabilities**

Minimum 1 year experience in the perioperative setting as a Theatre Technician Certificate III/IV in Health Services Assistant (Operating Theatre Technician) Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team Ability to take direction Sound communication skills Ability to work in a physically demanding role
