**Pharmacy Assistant (Full-Time)**

**Key Responsibilities**

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients while supporting our pharmacy team. Your main duties will include, but are not limited to:

- **Customer Service**: Provide patients with health care solutions and advice on over-the-counter medications. Ensure an outstanding customer experience at all times.
- **Stock Management**: Assist with daily stock replenishment, merchandising, and ensuring shelves are well-stocked and presented.
- **Pharmacy Support**: Support and assist the pharmacist with the preparation of medications, stock management, and other pharmacy services.
- **Administrative Tasks**: Cashier processing, maintaining accurate customer records, and assisting with store presentation and cleaning.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with other pharmacy team members to deliver excellent customer service and ensure smooth store operations.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**

**Essential**:

- Must have or be willing to obtain:

- **The Pharmacy Guild of Australia SIRCIND002 - Support the Supply of Pharmacy Medicines and Pharmacist Only Medicines** Statement of Attainment.
- **Certificate III in Community Pharmacy** (or willingness to complete this certification if not already obtained).
- **First Aid & C.P.R Certification** (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy pharmacy environment.
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service, including assisting patients with their health care needs and providing advice on over-the-counter medications.
- A strong work ethic and a passion for working in health care.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling and cash processing.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

**Desirable**:

- Prior experience in customer service or retail (pharmacy or health care experience is a plus, but not required).
- Previous experience in a community pharmacy setting would be advantageous but is not a requirement.

Pay: $25.65 - $42.42 per hour
