About the Supply Chain Surety Branch
Supply Chain Surety is a branch in Corporate Services Division (CSD) supporting the supply of clinical goods, pharmaceuticals and linen products to the Hospital and Health Services (HHS), Queensland Health.
The branch is comprised of functions critical to Queensland Health's supply response, including Supply Chain Services, Central Pharmacy, Group Linen Services and Operations. This branch brings together an end-to-end supply chain management function from demand planning through to warehousing and distribution into a single integrated branch led by the Executive Director.
The Branch also works closely with the Procurement and Supply Optimisation Program - a Queensland Government initiative to secure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) supply for Queenslanders.
**What we are looking for**:
- Demonstrated ability to deliver and maintain high quality transport services
- Demonstrated ability in leadership and management of employees and assets
- Excellent ability to organise and manage time, and use effective interpersonal skills to clarify, resolve issues and communicate decisions
- Demonstrated ability to support and build relationships with clients using sound communication and interpersonal skills.
**Mandatory qualifications, licences and other requirements**:
- Truck licence.
- There are no mandatory qualifications required for appointment to this position, but possession of professional or tertiary level qualifications in relevant areas such as financial management and policy, accountancy, business management, project or change management will be favourably regarded.
- While not mandatory, conversant with QLD Transport Regulations and Chain of Responsibility will be desirable
- It may be a condition of employment for this role, for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against COVID-19 as per the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
