An opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and highly motivated person to join the Rex Airport Team as the Airside Trainer for NSW and the ACT. This is a full-time role based in Sydney.

Reporting to the Head of Training, Airport Services - The Airside Service Ground trainer will be responsible for the training and development of Ramp and Catering Staff across the NSW ports and the ACT.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Facilitation and delivery of ground operations training in all facets of Ramp duties and aircraft turnaround for Saab 340 and B737 aircraft
- Ensuring staff are trained to the highest level in accordance with Regional Express standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements
- Ensure staff maintain currency
- Accountability in the first instance, for company procedural and regulatory compliance.
- Ensuring operational compliance by providing appropriate training to staff and contractors at Hub and Rex out port locations
- Maintain accurate and up to date Training Records
- Assist in the development of training programs
- Complete paperwork and administrative requirements of the Ground Training Department in a timely manner
- Facilitation and delivery of ground operations training in all facets of Ramp duties and aircraft turnaround for Saab 340 and B737 aircraft
- Other tasks as requested by the Head of Training - Airport Services Ground Training & Development.

**Key Selection Criteria**:

- Minimum three years’ experience in Ramp operations.
- Minimum three years’ Narrow / Wide Body experience
- Effective communication skills
- Positive and professional attitude
- Well organised
- Understanding of CASA and Local Airport Authorise / Regulations
- Highly motivated and interested in being part of a small and talented team
- Flexibility to travel around the Rex network for training purposes if required
- Organisational, public relations, technical, problem solving skills required.
- Cert IV in Training & Assessment desired or willingness to obtain
